Who knew going into 2nd grade would be so hard... on ME! I tried to look strong in front of all the parents at the bus stop, but I did get a bit weepy as the bus pulled away and I could see Elle waving at me through the window! I'm such a baby!! She's never been on a bus before. Even when she was in Kindergarten, I drove her everyday. There's something about you kid getting on the BUS for the first time...
I'm as excited for her to come home and tell me all about it and she was to GO to school. We went to her open house on Friday and she has the teacher I was HOPING she'd get!! There were 3 teachers she could have gotten, but I REALLY wanted her to have this one, and she ended up getting her YAY!! She's also in the same class as her BFF Afton... there desks are even right next to eachother! Afton only lives 5 houses down from me... I didn't think it was possible for those two to be any more inseparable... but I guess it IS possible!

I'm going to start to cry just thinking about it, I don't know how you held it in this morning. She looks like a young lady in these picts. Cutie pie. Love, Mom
Ah! I remember Zod felt the same way when you guys were in school. Finn's school is a block and a half from our house, so we haven't had to do the whole bus thing yet, but even without it's hard. Little stinkers.
I'm glad Elle has such a sweet friend to go with.
You lucky girl! I wish I had a bus that picked up my kidos. Instead, I ride my bike with the kids...and believe me, it is crazy to try to find everyone at the end of the day!!!! If it is raining, you can only imagine the number of cars at the school. Elle looks so happy in the pictures. I am so happy for her! and that she gets to sit right by her bff, AWESOME!
Oh my, she looks all grown up! It was fun to catch up with you through your blog. I put the trailer to the movie New Moon on my blog if you haven't seen it yet.
